Rekha, whose real name is Bhanurekha Ganesan, is one of most enigmatic actresseses of Bollywood, the one who just refuses to age.

She started her film career at a very young age of 13 in the Telugu film Rangula Ratnam. She made her Bollywood debut with the film Sawan Bhadon, starring Navin Nischol.

In her long and illustrious career, she has delivered several amazing performances in films like Khoobsurat, Namak Haram, Muqaddar Ka Sikander, Umrao Jaan, Khoon Bhari Maan.

Aamir Khan & Rekha avoided each other at one time, but have now patched up.

Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ was appreciated by one and all, but one appreciation that stood out, in terms of uniqueness, was by veteran actress Rekha.

The evergreen actress, who doesn’t usually attend parties, however graced Dangal’s success party with her presence.

Rekha expressing her appreciation by penning a hand-written letter that had words of appreciation for Aamir’s performance in Dangal, and her words totally moved Aamir, who had tears in his eyes after reading the heartfelt message.

However, not many are aware that at one point, Aamir Khan and Rekha could not see eye-to-eye.

As per grapevine, Rekha, who once worked with Aamir Khan’s father Tahir Hussain in a movie, gave a tough time to Tahir Hussain. A young Aamir didn’t like it and formed an impression about Rekha.

However, the two seemed to have patched up now, and that is definitely good news, as both are legends of Hindi film industry.
